1. About Us

Washdown Ltd is a New Zealand-owned exterior cleaning company operating in Auckland and Rodney Districts. We provide house washing, roof treatment, driveway cleaning, deck cleaning, and commercial cleaning services.

2. Quotes & Pricing

• All quotes provided are free and without obligation.
• Quotes are based on information provided by the customer and may be adjusted upon inspection if conditions differ significantly from what was described.
• Prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.
• Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.

3. Bookings & Cancellations

• Bookings are confirmed upon verbal or written agreement with Washdown Ltd.
• If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours notice.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a call-out fee.
• We reserve the right to reschedule bookings due to adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. We will notify you as soon as possible in such cases.

4. Access to Property

• You are responsible for ensuring our team has safe and clear access to the areas requiring cleaning.
• Please advise us of any hazards, pets, fragile items, or areas that should not be cleaned prior to our visit.
• You do not need to be present during the clean, but we may need to contact you if issues arise on-site.

5. Satisfaction Guarantee

• We are committed to delivering high-quality results. If you are not satisfied with our work, please contact us within 48 hours of the completed job.
• We will assess the concern and, where reasonable, return to rectify the issue at no additional cost.
• Our guarantee does not cover pre-existing damage, stains that cannot be removed with standard cleaning methods, or areas we were not engaged to clean.

6. Roof Treatment Guarantee

• Our roof biocide treatments come with a 12-month no-regrowth guarantee.
• Results may vary depending on environmental conditions, roof type, and severity of growth.
• The guarantee applies to the treated areas only and does not cover new growth resulting from debris accumulation.

7. Liability

• Washdown Ltd carries public liability insurance.
• We take all reasonable care when working on your property. However, we are not liable for damage that was pre-existing or that occurs due to pre-existing structural weakness or deterioration.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from our services.
• Our maximum liability is limited to the value of the services provided.

8. Payment

• Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• We accept payment by bank transfer or cash.
• Overdue accounts may incur interest at 2% per month.

9. Website Use

• The content on this website is for general information purposes only and is subject to change without notice.
• We make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of website content.
• Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
